![]() ![]() This was the beginning of what we have come to know as Pumpkinland!įor fifty years, the larger-than-life figures and scarecrows on display have illustrated the legends and lore of the harvest season, featuring local history and some of the many stories of pumpkins and apples. That display was returned to the family farm and was set up in the pumpkin sales area. Linvilla's matriarch, Peg Linvill (1930-2018), created a harvest display which was awarded first place at Philadelphia Horticultural Society's Harvest Show held at Fairmount Park’s Memorial Hall in 1971. Though known for his Guinness World Records®, he is sought after for his stage show which he has presented across the US and internationally, performing for family, corporate and collegiate audiences. He has also been featured in numerous periodicals including FHM, National Geographic Kids' Magazine, Time, Better Homes and Gardens and The Philadelphia Inquirer.
